Reynaldo (Rey) Aquino

Registered Migration Agent MARA (1279638), Member of Migration Alliance

Rey has been practising migration law since 2012 as he is currently registered with the Office of Migration Agents and Registration Authority. After studying Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland in 2019, Rey was admitted as a Solicitor (or Lawyer) in the State of Queensland, Australia. As of date, Rey has purely dedicated himself in the area of migration law.

Rey came to Australia in 2000 to study Bachelor of Business, Major in Accounting and Sub-majors in Marketing and Business Law at the University of Technology, Sydney. This became Rey’s pathway to permanent residency and citizenship in Australia.

However, Rey’s path to Australian citizenship was not smooth. In 1998, Rey’s family applied for Business Visa in Australia as they were hoping to be migrate from the Philippines. Due to lack of guidance, Rey’s mother met an unregistered agent in Sydney to assist in submitting the Business visa application. The Business visa application was refused and Rey’s family lost a significant amount of money throughout the visa application.

Luckily, Rey’s father met a migration lawyer in Canberra and advised that Rey’s best pathway in Australia is to study Accounting. As a result, Rey undertook the Bachelor of Business (Major in Accounting) at the University of Technology Sydney. Then, the rest is history.
